International Marine Industry leading and award winning dinghy, Keelboat and Multihull manufacturer RS Sailing has released an updated version of their highly successful 'Long-term Equipment Development Pathway' resource. Aimed at supporting the work of Sailing / Yacht Clubs, Commercial water-sports centers, Sail Training Schools, National Sailing Federations and Regional / International Sailing Associations, this important resource provides users with a clear picture of how boats produced by RS Sailing fit into both 'participation' based sailing (recreational / fun sailing) programs as well as 'performance (racing / competition) oriented sail training programs at local / national, regional as well as international level.
The 'Long-term Equipment Development Pathway' resource utilizes a number of clearly defined categories of boat type to help users differentiate between single-handed (one person) dinghies, crewed dinghies (more than 2 sailors), Keelboats and Multihulls. It also provides a pathway that identifies boats suitable for use in 'Sailability' (Disabled Sailing) programs.
For detailed information on any of the boats listed in this resource, the newly re-launched RS Sailing website provides downloadable info sheets on each of the boats in their range. You can access the RS website (here).
